Nasr Mahrous, Born on 7 January 1969. An Egyptian music producer, filmmaker, director, lyricist, and composer.
In the late 80s, Nasr established his own record label Free Music for Art Production. Throughout the past 30 years, he produced and released more than 1000 tracks, most of which are major hits worldwide.
He is best known as a Star-Maker for discovering and introducing stars like Tamer Hosny, Sherine Abdelwahab, Bahaa Sultan, Soma, Diab, and many other artists, and released for them dozens of albums that were all best sellers vastly worldwide. Many of these hits are still counting millions of views on YouTube and all music platforms, these artists eventually were classified as superstars that were in a very short time competing with other established superstars.
Between 1995 and 2007 he re-introduced several established artists and managed to put them on top of the music charts with a new musical vision and new albums that achieved overwhelming success, these artists include stars like Mohammed Fouad, Mohammed Mounir, Khaled Agag, Hasan Al-Asmar, and others.
Since 2016, Nasr Mahrous continued to discover talents, as he managed to discover and present rising young stars such as Nabil, Mostafa Shawky, Nagham Saleh, and Sandra Hajj, who were able, in a short period of time, to achieve great viewership and streams and compete for the top of the trends & streaming lists in the Middle East.
As a director, he directed nearly 100 music videos, from the late 80s until today, and he also expanded his talent to the Cinema, as he directed a movie starring Tamer Hosny titled Captain Hima. As a lyricist, he wrote the lyrics of hundreds of songs that are still considered major hits to this day.
In 2015, Nasr Mahrous further expressed his passion for music by joining the Television industry, as he opened his TV channel Free Music TV, which received several awards as the best music TV Channel, and today it is the leading music TV channel in all the MENA region.
Nasr Mahrous received countless awards throughout his career, as a Star-Maker, music producer, director, and lyricist, plus other honorary awards for his lifetime achievements.
